Dose medication pouches. The Classi-Dose packaging system ensures that each resident receives the correct dose of medication at the correct time. Medications are packaged in individual multi-dose pouches and are delivered on a weekly basis.

Each prescription order is checked by our pharmacists for contraindications, drug interactions and therapeutic duplications. To ensure accuracy, each pouch is then checked multiple times prior to dispensing.

Classi-Dose saves valuable nursing time and labour, reduces errors and waste, and has the packaging flexibility to meet any resident's specific needs.

Classic Care Pharmacy currently operates 9 Automed packaging machines to ensure reliable prescription processing and emergency back-up.

Monthly Blister Card System
ach card contains one month supply of a single medication. Cards are equipped with peel-able labels for easy reordering of medication. Classic Care Pharmacy offers batch filling of 30-day blister cards for maintenance medications, which are automatically refilled on a monthly basis.

Other Packaging
All other medications including, liquids, creams, narcotics, and others are all packaged appropriately.

Leave of absence medications are packaged and delivered promptly as they are needed.

Emergency Medication Stock Box

Classic Care Pharmacy provides one or more emergency medication stock boxes to each home to ensure immediate access to a supply of emergency medications. The medication stock box is customized to carry medications according to each home's specific requirements.
